East Cobb Renegades Home Page

Welcome to the 17-18U East Cobb Renegades Website.

The Renegades are affiliated with East Cobb Baseball. The East Cobb Baseball program is recognized nationally as one of the premier youth baseball operations in the country.

The 17-18U Renegades are a team of top high school players from across Georgia who are interested in playing at the next level. The team is coached by Mike Zilleox. We welcome Mike Turchan to our coaching staff. Mike is currently the pitching coach at North Cobb High School. Both Coach Zilleox and Turchan have played at the college level and possess a very energetic and fundemental approach to the game.

The Renegades will compete at some of the most competitive tournaments/college events to showcase their abilities. Please check our schedule for game locations.

High School Bats BESR & BESR-ABI Approved

All bats below are legal for high school play for the 2011 High School Season.
In order for bats to be legal for the 2011 high school baseball season they must be
1. BESR certified with an aluminum barrel
OR
2. BESR certified with composite barrel and on the Approved BESR-ABI Composite Baseball Bat bat list located on the NFHS website located HERE.
OR
3. BBCOR Certified. BBCOR bats are also legal for college play and are made to perform similar to wood. BBCOR bats while legal for high school play will not perform as well as BESR only certified bats.
